Ms Govender obtained her Bachelor of laws Degree (LLB) from the University of South Africa. After serving her articles with PGA Inc, she was duly admitted as an Attorney in the High Court of South Africa. Ms Govender is also in possession of the following qualifications, BTECH Policing, PostGrad Forensic Investigation and Criminal Justice, PostGrad in Cyber Law and attended various Leadership and Management programs. She is a former South African Police Services (SAPS) Law Enforcement Detective and was an Acting Commander in a specialized unit. She worked in the Insurance industry,, and was appointed as a member of the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI) Board of Directors. Before embarking on her legal journey she worked for EOH Forensic Services. She is skilled, knowledgeable and gained experience in the following discipline: Criminal and Civil Litigation, Forensic Investigation, Legal Advice and Legal Opinion, Family Law, Divorce, Labour Disputes, Administration of Deceased’s Estates and Wills, Cyber Law, Debt Collection, Road Accident Fund Claims, Unclaimed Benefit, and Stolen and Recovery Investigation.
Ms Nkomo is an accomplished Senior Legal Advisor and Executive Director of MS Legal Consultant possessing multi-faceted experience in the legal industry. She holds an LLB degree from University of Fort Hare, and a LLM degree in Cyber Law and Environmental Law from the University of Witwatersrand with her dissertation focus on the “Evaluation of South African Bio-fuel strategy and prospects for renewable Petroleum with reference to food security and environmental sustainability in comparison to the regional and international Context”. With experience in the legal field from her articles of clerkship with Nonyongo Attorneys her focus areas are commercial contracts, civil litigation and criminal litigation. Ms Nkomo also worked at Kay-Pee Attorneys specializing in commercial contracts, case management, and client consultation and advisory. She is passionate about and has vast experience in Cyber Law, webinars including cyber compliance and security, Legal opinions, Environmental Compliance including Environmental Auditing, Appeals, Environmental Auditing, Cost Consulting, Drafting, Opposing and Taxation.
